Leather goods handcrafted with love from full grain, veg tanned leather
Originally from Nottingham, I grew up with the Peak District as my stamping ground.
I’ve always loved the outdoors – from hiking & camping, to sea fishing and climbing.
It was in the spring of 2019, that I started developing an interest in Bushcraft, the umbrella term for many different skills such as traditional living skills like willow weaving, spoon carving & leather work.
I became fascinated by leather and was excited by the possibilities the medium gives. I just had to take the plunge and start making something.
Since then, I’ve learned so much and have taken on many different projects, each one a bit bigger, and more complicated than the last. I’m currently really enjoying the Steampunk style.

I love attending craft markets and events and to date have enjoyed The Goblin Masquarade Ball in Borth, Tenby Steam Punk and now Ceredigion Craft Makers

“I commissioned Steve with an idea I’ve had for a long time… I wanted a Top hat, but not just any old top, I wanted ‘Gangs of New York’, Bill the Butcher with a hint of rock n roll! Steve took the brief, and with his passion, energy and creativity, consistent consultation and attention to detail he not only produced the most beautiful, hand crafted top hat, an absolute festival showpiece, but also a treasured possession, something that I will pass on to my son and will have a story to tell for generations…” – Ferg

As well as leather craft, I also love being on the land and running bushcraft sessions for people wanting to learn more.

If you have an idea for a leather item then do not hesitate to get in touch, I would love to hear from you.
